  2. This comic strip of the Simpsons uses satire to show that they are anti guns. However, I see no reason for people not to have guns. This is because anyone who would want to comit a crime with it would get one anyways, but why not be able to shoot the one who goes on a rampage instead of waiting for hte cops to come.

  3. @triplekriz, i dont really understand what you are trying to say, i cant see the point youre trying to bring out. People needs guns to defend themselves when a cop cant get there in time, its not necessary for someone to go on a rampage if they have a gun.

  4. Well I am saying a person is less likely to go on a rampage when everyone else has a gun. Of course I think there should only be semi automatic 6 bullet guns around for personal defense.

  6. This was a fanstastic episode and I like how The Simpsons very subtly shows its stance on the gun violence and rights. I also have to agree with them in this sense because as we have seen recently with all of the shootings, getting a gun in this country has become too easy.

  7. @Sulaiman, i dont think there agaisnt guns neccessarily, i think they were just being comical because they already were making fun of cigarettes. And yeah, great episode. Too bad the season ended.

  8. Gaurav, I don't think it was meant to be JUST comical, I also think there was a political standpoint behind it too. Especially since, if I'm not mistaken, this was a recent episode?

  10. Cigarettes have become such an issue in our country and more and more younger kids are beginning to smoke. Because cigarettes are legal the government does not pay much attention to cigarette marketing and little do they know underage kids are getting a hold of cigarettes and ultimatley shortning their lives.
