Society hooks on to one thing and they dont do their research. Most "Crazies" have a mental disorder and these games only trigger their diorder, the game doesnt do that to normal people. According to the logic of peole who think video games make you violent, I'd be better at basketball after playing NBA 2k13
This cartoon shows the influence that video games, movies and over all society have on kids today. When kids watch television, the characters they love influence them. If these characters shoot guns then the kids will most likely feel that shooting guns is okay.
I agree with Justin... so many kids play video games with violence and that is what causes them to eventually become violent. Thay cannot contain everything inside them and eventually it ends up harming people. Children want to be like the characters that they play as.
@Joshua and Justin, like i said, just because i see athlete becoming rich from playing sports, that doesnt make me want to go out and train to become a famous athlete. It only gives a little motivation you could say, violence in media only gives an already unstable mind a little boost, it doesnt cause the violence. Thats already implanted in the persons mind.
I agree with Josh and Justin. Violent video games have been proven to create more violent children. Children simply learn from what they see (a.k.a. Bandura's Bobo Doll Experiement). It's not unlikely that violent videogames play a huge part in future violence in children. LM, 9
@Gaurav, the reason you don't become a famous athlete is because it is very hard to become a professional or famous athlete. In my opinion if someone is "crazy" it wouldnt be too hard to get their hands on guns.
